LTC Darryl A. Owens: The Senior Army Instructor for West Charlotte High School. He strives for success in the program and motivates the students so that when every cadet graduates from the program they will go on to live a life of citizenship and keep those lifelong learning skills that they have been taught and apply them to their everyday lives.

1SG Dennis is an Army Instructor for the West Charlotte High School JROTC program. 1SG Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1983-2002.He is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran. He has served in various leadership positions from squad leader,platoon leader,Platoon Sergeant and Company First Sergeant.He has held all positions within the United States Army Recruiting Command from Small Station commander,Battalion Trainer,Guidance Counselor and Company First Sergeant.

He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University (November ,2011) with BS in public Safety Administration and BS from Ft Hays State University with a Master's in education (May 2015),and also an graduate from the United States Army Department First Sergeant school at the(Sergeant Major Academy).

I am Command Sergeant Major Alphonso Moten. I am the instructor for the let twos'. I am in charge of the drill team and their accomplishments. I have been working with West Charoltte for about eight and a half years. I enjoy seeing others respecting the uniform and wearing it with pride.
